Hey everyone and welcome to Refinery Life Church.
This week we continue our series titled “The book of Colossians”
A devotional study of the Bible, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, has the potential for bringing great blessings into the lives of those who participate.
These messages from Colossians will take us from now through to the end of the year on Thursday nights.
Today we are talking about Living With Thanks.
Many people are sitting on a fence.
To fall on one side is death, to fall on the other is life.
To live is to live a life with a sense of gratitude and obligation.
This expresses the Christian approach to living with thanks tonight.
Because we have found grace and forgiveness in Jesus Christ, all of life is lived as an expression of thanks and gratitude to God.
This is seen in the principle Paul stated in Colossians 2:6, “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,”
Living with thanks results in living closer to God.
We should live in thanks to God.
