Lilla Woodhouse is a 79-year old thyroid cancer patient at Dana-Farber, having been diagnosed in April of 2016. She had trouble with medication at the start of her treatment but has done better since being moved to a clinical trial. Lilla and her nurses, Patty McHugh, RN, and Elizabeth Mueller, RN, talk to Dale and Keefe about Lilla’s diagnosis and journey and why they’re a family.
