I’ll break down the historical rivalry between these two teams, who have clashed in the World Series 11 times. The Yankees currently lead the rivalry with eight wins to the Dodgers’ three.

Predictions for This Series
While I’m personally rooting for the Dodgers, I think they might have the edge this year. With stars like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers have strong talent, even with some injuries in their pitching lineup. The Yankees, led by Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole, have an impressive roster too, but I feel the Dodgers’ superstar lineup is more effective overall.
