Conservative MP's have called on the BBC to sack football presenter Gary Lineker after he compared the government's use of language around illegal immigration to 1930's Germany. To discuss this, Richie is joined by David Sedgwick. David is an academic and author who has written extensively about the BBC. His latest book is entitled "Is That True Or Did You Hear It On The BBC?" It's a must-read.
Isabel Vaughan-Spruce is the director of a campaign group which offers help to women outside abortion clinics. She was arrested on Monday for breaching a public space protection order (PSPO), a buffer zone put in place to protect women attending the clinic from harassment. Isobel said she was there to pray. Police officers told her that she was committing an offence. She was fined and when she refused to leave she was arrested. Isabel tells Richie that her group is being smeared by the press and politicians who make outrageous claims about pro-life campaigners but then offer no evidence when challenged to produce some.
