About The Podcast and channel
I'm a married UK dad of 3 trying to shed some light during these fairly dark times. My idea of singing a "probably quite out of tune" rendition of Happy Birthday every day to whoever might need to hear it may hopefully help someone somewhere.
If you like what I'm trying to do and want to support, please hit subscribe or share a video.
Thanks for your support James
ARE YOU A DAD?
Dads! There's way more that links us in our dad's lives than divides us. To prove this, I will ask as many dads as possible, hopefully from around the world, the same questions.
To qualify as a dad, you're responsible for the life of another human being.
If you'd like to feature in a future podcast episode and answer these 13 questions below, please drop me a line at mydadmissions@gmail.com
1) How old were you when you 1st became a dad?
2) How would you describe the experience of being a dad in 3 words?
3) What is your biggest regret in life so far?
4) What is one piece of advice you would give your teenage self?
5) What is the best job you have ever had?
6) What is the worst job you've ever had?
7) Did you have a nickname at school?
8) What is the best prank or trick you have ever played on someone?
9) What is the best live gig you have ever been to?
10) What's the most important lesson you have learned so far?
About The Dad Mind Matters podcast
Thank you for checking out the Dad Mind Matters Channel. I'm on a mission to support and amuse anyone struggling with their mental health or the general stress of family life, marriage or parenting.
How do I do this?
I ignore the frequent requests from my children to "stop embarrassing me" by telling dad jokes and creating Youtube shorts on how to develop emotional intelligence, how not to burnout during fatherhood, how to protect your mental health, how to develop more emotional intelligence and how to enjoy marriage during the white knuckle ride that is parenting and family life.
I also write and produce two weekly podcasts every Monday and Thursday on various parenting, marriage & mental health subjects.
I have a Facebook group and would be chuffed to hear what you thought about the podcasts and if you have any specific questions about the subject matter discussed. If you do, could you come and say hello via the link below?
