- An advisor to Israel’s president and his friend found a rare, 2,500-year-old piece of pottery while walking through a national park. It contained an inscription of Persian King Darius the Great, mentioned in the Bible’s book of Ezra. It’s the first archaeological reference to the king ever found in Israel.
- The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has ruled that someone who kills an unborn baby capable of living outside of the mother's body can be charged with homicide since that child is considered a person under state law.
- The members of a Texas megachurch overwhelmingly voted this week to leave the United Methodist Church. The vote comes as liberal policies and LGBT issues continue to splinter the second-largest denomination in the United States.
