Exodus 20:8-11
“...but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.” ~ Exodus 20:10
1. Sabbath Baby Steps.
- Baby Step #1: Name the truth—24/7 is not sustainable.
- Baby Step #2: Admit: I need a stop day.
- Baby Step #3: Identify your Sabbath day.
- Baby Step #4: Make one change on that day. (Stop something or add something)
- Baby Step #5: Grow your Sabbath rhythms of renewal and re-creation.
- Baby Step #6: Seek healing—stop consuming. (Rest in the Lord’s presence.)
- Baby Step #7: Nurture Relationships
