The Gift of Encouraging.

Hey everyone I’m Pastor Gary Hoban and welcome to Refinery Life Australia.

We are studying the spiritual gifts, the theme of this series is “Gifts of The Holy Spirit.”

It is important to remember that a positive response on our part as believers to the Father’s gift of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential if we are to truly be God’s people.

Today we are discussing The Gift of Encouraging.

Romans 12:8 (ESV)

8 the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Introduction

The word comfort is used nine times in our scripture reading to describe the ministry of encouraging.

Encouragement is a gift from God that we are to pass onto others.
