Our first sermon from our series "Dignity & Depravity: The Life of David." Before David comes on the scene to be anointed as the next king of Israel, we need to see how kingship developed in Israel. As we look at Israel's desire for a king we'll see how we also look to other things to be our king, rather than King Jesus.
