Be fast
Juggle / Touch
Game awareness (watch more games)

Club soccer is fun if you can make some friends on the team.

Tryouts:
Stressful
Some clubs will take whomever
You aren't guarantee to get on a team
If you are on a team, you'll 90% make the team
Get individual training with the future coach
Fast foot work
Skill drills
Run / jog
Use both feet


Which Club to play for:
How long do they keep coaches

Good Coach Qualities:
Funny
Cared / invested in individuals
Talked to them
No yelling
Stick with the team
Work technical
Teach the game
Ask what licenses they have

Bad Coach Qualities:
Yell
Kick and run
Players can't go past half line
Yell at each other to grow the team
Talk on the field you are going to be out of the game
Shoot at the goalie
Sarcastic comments
Sitting kids out
Kick ball
Prioritize kick ball players
Play favorites
Pick the team captains unfairly
Rely on one player

Good Team Qualities:
Communication
Know where players should be
Build each other up
Be friends with your team
Defense will talk and be aggressive
Know to play to open space on the run
Don't hold grudges


There is always a better team or player
The more difficult leagues require more time and travel and MONEY
Juggling is good for you

Parents:
Don't coach your kids at the game
Do NOT coach other parent's kids ever
Be encouraging (cheer, not steer)
Know what offsides is but don't yell about it, stay quiet
