“Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that you have gained; the commerce in which you fear a decline; or the dwellings in which you delight, are dearer to you than ALLAH swt or His Messenger saws, or the striving in His cause- then wait until ALLAH swt brings about His decision. And ALLAH swt does not guide the rebellious ones.” Ayats 23 and 24 from Surah al-Tauba.
Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying, if man does not have guidance, where does he end up? This is ahir zaman (end times), everyone has some love other than ALLAH swt and His Prophet saws. You can have one excuse, one billion excuses, they are not enough. Someone asked a question. Sheykh Efendi is saying intentions are important, and your sincerity. What is the intention behind things you do? If the intention is good, the result is going to be good. If the result is not good, check your intention- something is wrong somewhere. Don’t look to blame somebody else except yourself.
