Katie Lyon talks about her latest release ‘Some Things Take Time’.

Katie Lyon is a singer-songwriter from Southwest Florida. She’s spent time busking on the beaches in the south to playing local dive bars and breweries in the North. There’s really no one place that holds her although Chattanooga, TN has a pretty tight grip on the artist currently. It’s safe to say that her music can sound like a honky tonk or a lonely island hideaway – you’ll get the feel for both if you happen to catch a live show. Katie Is influenced by the sounds of Brandi Carlile, Miranda Lambert, and Kacey Musgraves, as well as George Strait, Chris Stapleton, & Jason Isbell.
