As we saw on Election Day in San Francisco, there is tremendous public appetite
for measures to tackle public safety challenges in the Bay Area and California,
from drug abuse on the streets to fentanyl in our communities to retail theft and
other brazen property crime that’s been plaguing the region over the last couple
of years.
To that end, State Senator and president pro tem Mike McGuire has unveiled a package of bills to address these crises, at the state level. He’s calling it “Working Together For a Safer California.”
