Today we are going to talk about, When it’s hard to have hope.

When something terrible happens in your life, are you tempted to ask, “what good could come out of this?”

Sometimes things look like a disaster, and feel like a disaster, therefore you conclude, “It’s a disaster!”

This is when you need to remember God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11, “ I know the thoughts that I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

And the there’s Romans 8:28, which says, “All things work together for good to those who love God”

God doesn’t tell you that you will escape suffering and pain.

What He does do is promise to miraculously use even bad situations for your ultimate good, and He assures you that you have a great future ahead of you, when you rely in Him.

Let these promises sustain you when you find it hard to have hope.

Talk to God today and ask Him to strengthen you with His Word and Spirit when you suffer, so you can endure with joy, knowing that God ultimately has great things in store for you.

Until tomorrow
