President Biden slapped more sanctions on Russia today, even as he admitted that sanctions weren’t designed to keep Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia’s attack on Ukraine continues, with fears that Putin has bigger designs on more of eastern Europe

As the war in Ukraine intensifies, these are anxious times for the roughly 10,000 Ukrainians who live in the Bay Area. They’ve been banding together for support and to help each other keep contact with family back in Ukraine.
