A New Gritty Outback Noir, Starring Simon Baker, to Watch this Week

Limbo is the latest film from Indigenous auteur Ivan Sen (Mystery Road, Goldstone) and stars an unrecognisable Simon Baker as a "Walter-Whiteish" outback detective. Filmed entirely in monochrome, this gritty outback noir has an eerily beautiful visual language. Broadsheet contributor Lucy Bell Bird recently spoke to Baker about the new release and she joins Around Town with the details. Then, a barebones kitchen in Caulfield South is dishing cinnamon scrolls in two sizes, featuring oozing caramelised brown sugar and silky cream cheese icing.
