"I think it's important and I'll share this with you, too. This was also one of a very painful moment. My husband told me that my son Colin had said the drunk mom is the worst mom. And I heard that. And that just broke my heart. And I just thought, you know, I don't I don't see you getting choked up, but I thought, I don't want him to view me like that. I don't want to be known as that. I don't want him to talk about me in a way when he's older. And just remember that. And I thought, well, I have the opportunity to turn this around. And so that was one of the biggest things for me was my kids. And, you know, when it comes to making change with anything in your life, it really your desire has to be for yourself first. You have to do it for yourself. You can't change for other people, but it certainly can be a catalyst. It certainly can be a motivator. So just remember that." In this episode I  share my experience with quitting drinking.  I  was a "weekend warrior party girl" for the better part of 30+ years.  My journey to quitting began about 4 years ago, and I    want to share some of the personal shit that went on during the process of finally quitting. The beliefs I     had and why I    ultimately decided to kick it to the curb!
