I've been reading a lot about helping children calm down during a tantrum. Teaching them to name their feelings, letting them know you understand how they feel, then when they're out the other side having a conversation about what they could do differently next time. All sounds great in theory right?! But while I'm piling on the empathy, I'm struggling to teach them to respect boundaries - and me. So how do you find that balance?
