About Mia McDonough
● Amelia grew up in Dedham and graduated from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. She’s
had multiple family members treated at Dana-Farber as adult patients and always knew
Dana-Farber was a special place.
● Amelia joined the Jimmy Fund Clinic as a nurse in 2024. In the infusion room, she has
anywhere from four to six patients per day - they maybe getting chemotherapy, blood
products, or coming in for sick visits. She is responsible for coordinating with their providers
to make sure they get all they need while they're in the infusion chair.
