We see both in the Scriptures today and in the Summa Theologiae of Thomas Aquinas that the Law we Christians are under is that of the Spirit and of Charity. We are no longer under obligation, but a People of Freedom through Christ.

And with this freedom, we are called to fall ever more deeply in love with God and with our neighbor. Not out of obligation, but out of our great desire.
