Hershall, today I had a very needful conversation with a pastor friend of mine, Rev. Doug Hash. He is a grief counselor and he shares with us some very practical things that help us in dealing with grief. There are over 40 different kinds of losses that a person can experience that can cause grief. Rev. Hash gives us an overview of the points that he uses in The Grief Recovery Program to assist people that are working through the grieving process. This may not be a conversation that you feel would apply, but I encourage everyone to listen because it's not just advise for the one grieving but there are some very helpful tips for those trying to help a person in the grief journey. Rev. Hash also debunks some myths that are believed about grief. I appreciate his ministry and feel that our conversion is so timely!
