Ernest Hemingway was more than a Nobel and Pulitzer prize winning writer. He was a war correspondent for both World Wars, the Spanish Civil War and countless other major events during his lifetime, often writing for the Toronto Star. Married several times, he was an adventurous compatriot of writers like James Joyce, F. Scott Fitzgerald and poet Ezra Pound. He travelled the world, but loved the solitude of Wyoming for hunting and Cuba for drinking. He was a massive character with an incredible life who impacted American literature for years.
