What is prayer, why do we do it and how did it begin? People have prayed since ancient times, each religion and belief has had its own unique way to pray. We pray when we give thanks...it's not all about a specific way of prayer, yet they all can work if it connects us to the infinite/god/Universal energy/the oneness.
The truth of prayer in every form is joy, compassion and love. It is free from judgement and "this is the only way". Thankfulness and appreciation before bed sets a wonderful energy for our night and morning.
