Why Duplication ALWAYS Brings Discouragement

Welcome to episode 100!! Can you believe that we have 100 episodes of phenomenal content? Today we are going to be talking about why duplication always leads to discouragement. Your upline may have said you need to create a duplicatable system. Well, you don’t, and here’s whey duplication always leads to discontent. You are trying to force people to become something they are not.
My experience with duplicatable systems was unsuccessful because it wasn’t unique to me. It didn’t play to my unique talents, gifts, and strengths. I became a minion to my upline rather than the independent boss I wanted to be. I remember crying as I drove to one of my first parties miserable and thinking I didn’t care if I retired my husband or not.

Here is a framework that works in any business, but you tweak it to match you and your team. For example, when I use scripts and prompts, it's a disaster. Don't believe me, watch one of my first Youtube videos. However, when you have a system that is replicateable, it gives me the freedom to speak from the heart instead, and that's where I thrive.
Play to your strengths. Yet, first, you need to figure out what those are so you can create a replicateable process that will produce success.
How do you find out what your strengths are? Take a test. I recommend Strength Finder 2.0. It's a book that you can purchase on Amazon. This will help you identify what you are innately good at.
The book also describes each strength and helps you understand your special gifts and how to relate to your team. You can also have your team take the free High5 test. You can access that here.

I saw this in my business. At Social Tenacity, we give our new clients the Strength Finder book and have them take the test. When I started this company, I was more introverted, and communication wasn’t one of my strengths. Yet, because I wanted to grow this weakness into a strength, I began attracting clients with strong communication skills. Then, there’s been many other times where I’ve been working on other attributes, and I attracted clients with the skills I wanted to increase.
Your strengths can change. If there’s something you think you lack or things you would like to have, work on them, and you can grow your weaknesses into powerful strengths. Learn about that quality. Look for ways you can include the strength into who you are.

When I figured out what worked for me, that’s when I started seeing success. Fairs and shows were not only a waste of money and time for me but not as successful as I would have wanted. That’s when I discovered online marketing was my strength. I switched gears, and my business grew.
When we allow people to play to their strengths, it makes your team stronger. When you play to your strengths, it automatically brings success, and both you and your team will love what you do.
