Dwelling Upon the Abundant Life
Philippians 4:6-9
1. Reimagining Hope
“… you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:7
2. Embrace a New Vision of Hope
“…Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” ~ Philippians 4:8
3.Embody a Better Way
“…Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” ~ Philippians 4:9
Next Steps:
1. Find some actual time to dwell on what an abundant life would look like.
2. What would it mean to you, your family and your community if you pursued a better way forward?
3. Come up with a big and realistic vision for what you believe is a helpful addition to a “better way forward,” and then take actions toward making it a reality!
4. Big or small, every moment matters so be present.
5. Find people who share or have similar visions as yours and encourage each other.
