Jamie McKinney is the author of "Speak Up, Sister", is a motivational speaker and leadership coach! She grew up in the collision industry starting at PPG and found that her path as a female could help both women and men, alike, step up and feel empowered.

As her first job out of college, Jamie felt frustrated as she was talked over by the folks that had been in the industry longer than she had been alive.
She leaned into her thoughts and ideas that would be different than anyone else was bringing to the table and those thoughts and ideas began to be embraced and welcomed. Through the beauty of her "naïveté" and her growth mindset, innovation exploded!

Confidence, initiative and follow-up became her secret sauce. She created a preparation routine to find the agenda and came with key points, questions, responses if asked about things on the docket, etc. She realized that she didn't have all the answers and that was ok - as long as she had initiative and follow-up she was able to set herself apart with credibility and trust.
