Exodus 20:8-11: “In six days God created… And on the seventh day God rested.” ~ Exodus 20:11a

1. Discover breathing room

• Baby step #1: Name the truth—24/7 is not sustainable.
• Baby step #2: Admit—I need a stop day.
• Baby step #3: Identify your Sabbath day.
• Baby step #4: Make one change on that day. (Stop something or add something.)
• Baby step #5: Plug your leaks.

2. Remember God’s rhythm.

• Genesis 2:1-4
• God created and God rested.

3. Imitate God’s rhythm.

• Psalm 8
• Celebrate God’s blessing.
• Celebrate God’s holiness.

Next Steps:
1. Take a baby step toward Sabbath.
2. Think abut your creative calling.
3. Commit to enjoying Sabbath experiences with others.
