Five advanced in-person interview tips for podcasters.

1. Leave early and record some audio upon arrival.
2. Clean your car.
3. Dress a level better than you feel you need to.
4. If you can, purchase and bring along a small folding piano stool.
5. Look out for the following potential issues when you’re face-to-face recording: going on and off mic, rubbing hands on clothes and moving zippers up and down, NOT building in one or more tech-breaks so your guest can check their phone/devices.
