As we all Benjamin Button backwards through the great sweep of human achievement, from the futuristic AI-enhanced space operas that will dominate the next century to the expressive cave paintings that started it all, let's pause for a fleeting moment to appreciate the absolute pinnacle of it all: Ang Lee's 1995 film Sense and Sensibility (which would later be adapted into a novel by Jane Austen herself.)
