She graduated from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Nurse Charms served at the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) for more than a decade. She has 17 years of extensive nursing experience which includes a variety of Administrative roles, Intensive Care Nursing & Women’s Health. In addition, her nursing career has been dedicated to community service, speaking on health promotion & mentoring others. Because of her love for holistic nursing, she completed a massage therapy program, and in 2012, was licensed as a massage therapist by the state of Michigan. Following this, she established her own massage company, Gold Standard Massage Clinic—a therapeutic spa for men and women. In 2015, Nurse Charms left her job at DMC to pursue greater challenges of becoming a full time entrepreneur. And in 2017, she launched two additional businesses, namely, Massage Pro on the Go and Pure Apparel. Other career highlights include working part-time at Google to provide massages for the staff on a weekly basis. She currently works as a part-time radio co-host at 910AM Superstation, where she enjoys discussing healthcare, entrepreneurship, politics, economic issues, and more. She is also a TV producer for an upcoming mental health talk show on WADL. When she is not busy she enjoys cooking, horse-back riding & flying drones.
