Buckle up and hang on for this interview. At the time I talked with Meredith she was still a Streaker (running at least one mile per day) and she did this through her training and traveling. I’ve had her sister on a few times, Jocelyn, but hearing from Meredith is much more relatable as mere age groupers listen as well. We talk about how she only uses Heart Rate on the run, as well as some of the details of what it’s like to be on beta blockers during training for a 70.3. One of the biggest things people should be aware of is the time change from Vegas to St. George, some people forget. I really enjoyed this conversation and hearing her perspective and excitement makes me almost want to do this race next year. Almost. Thank you so much for coming on the show Meredith, I wish you the best at Santa Rosa 70.3 and Arizona later this year!-Weather that day: 54 -85Water: 62* WSL-Age Group: F35-39Height: 5’6”Weight: 150ishCalories per hour: 250PSI for this course: 90Depth of Wheels: 66mm (Reynolds Strikes)Bike Elevation Gain: 3536ftRun Elevation Gain: 1267ftSwim: 29:03T1: 4:06Bike: 2:48:52T2: 3:05Run: 1:43:47Total Race Time: 5:08:51-Gender Rank: 65Division Rank: 13Overall Rank: 381-Follow Meredith,Facebook: Meredith GardnerInstagram: @Gardnermer-Follow Coach Terry:Instagram: @PerfectRacePodcastFacebook: www.facebook.com/CoachTerryWilsonWebsite: www.CoachTerryWilson.com
