I chat with Anthrozoologist, Philosopher, and Social Scientist, Lynda Korimboccus, about her article "The Peppa Pig Paradox" an article published by The Journal for Critical Animal Studies in 2020.
Guest: Lynda is a passionate advocate for equity and justice, and is Trustee of a newly formed creative social project, The Scheme, in her hometown of Livingston, Scotland. Lynda’s current PhD research investigates the experiences of young vegan children in key Scottish social institutions such as education, with a view to expanding its inclusivity. She is a member of The Vegan Society’s Researcher and Education Networks, and she has been a Lecturer in Sociology and Programme Tutor for the Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP) in Social Sciences at West Lothian College for 15 years.

Host: Marika completed her MA in Anthrozoology at the University of Exeter, UK in 2016 and upon moving back to the Seattle area of Washington state she joined the board of Homeward Pet Adoption Center. She also holds a University degree in Zoology (UW) and a CPDT-KA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
Now, host of The Deal with Animals, she enjoys chatting with people who know a lot more than she does about the various research disciplines of Anthrozoology as well as authors, nonprofits, professionals, and enthusiasts!
