Dana-Farber brain tumor patient Alex Epshteyn and Dr. Patrick Wen on the challenges of treating brain cancer and the advancements of brain cancer research
Alex Epshteyn was diagnoses with a brain tumor in the summer of 2016. After surgery and two months of daily radiation treatments Alex’s tumor returned and required the treatment to halt. This is when Alex ended up in Dr. Patrick Wen’s clinical trial at Dane-Farber, which focuses on novel treatments of brain tumors.
