If you've listened to past episodes of "EcoRight Speaks," then you know how excited we are about having first-time guests and introducing new topics to our listeners. Corey Kerkela is the president of the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Oceanside in Florida and the chairperson of The Fellowship of the Trees, a group whose mission is to connect communities by combining purposeful intention with action to rewild, regenerate, and restore land and culture, ensuring a thriving Earth for future generations.
Kerkela has been leading tree planting locally in Vero Beach and sees it as a non-partisan action people can take that is good for the environment and for local communities. Our republcEn.org executive director Bob Inglis had the pleasure of meeting Kerkela in person at a recent Rotary Club event in the Sunshine State and just knew Kerkela had to come on the show and share his passion and wisdom.
Catch this refreshing interview with Corey Kerkela and how he and his Vero Beach Rotary Club are making a difference in their local community!
