The two disciples on the road to Emmaus were lamenting the death of their Master. Their walk to Emmaus began with despair, confusion, grief and hopelessness. But then they had an encounter with the Risen Lord, who explained to them the Christ woven throughout all the scriptures from Moses through the prophets.Our personal journeys begin in that way until we encounter Jesus.
