The recent crackdown on San Francisco drug markets is putting a dent in the drug crisis in parts of San Francisco.  But, it comes at a cost.  

While the number of arrests have skyrocketed, so have deportations even though San Francisco is a Sanctuary City. So how is the city able to get away with skirting some of its own rules or is this a sign of desperation because of the seriousness of the drug crisis?
