A US Supreme Court Justice from 1993 until her death in September 2020, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, sometimes known as the Notorious R.B.G., was a tireless advocate for gender equality in American law. Tenacious, extraordinarily intelligent and strong, many of the laws she championed had a direct impact on the discrimination she faced in her own life and career.
