Government has finances in Budget 2023 to really tackle cost of living crisis -but will it?

We discuss the real fiscal space available to invest in Budget 2023 - it is closer to 12bn (not 6bn), increasing welfare in line with inflation, energy price caps, a wealth tax, 100% retrofit grants and state construction company to build homes why we need to invest in public services rather than tax cuts, and why we should focus on wellbeing indicators rather than GDP.
