1. God uses people who have blown it, v. 15-17

Two things we need to understand about blowing it…

a) permission vs. authority
b) now vs. afterward

2. We will all experience what we believe, v. 18-19

Would you worry about the things you currently worry about?
Would you fear the people/things you fear?
Would you lie anymore?
Would you trust God more?
Would you covet anymore?
Would you be a more authentic person?
Would the way you worship God change?  If so, how?


3. The gospel is authentic, authoritative and sufficient, v. 20-25

-John 20:30-31

a) that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ- a questions of identity
b) the son of God- a question of authority
c) and that by believing you may have life in his name- a question of opportunity

Zoe is the absolute fullness of life, both essential and ethical, which belongs to God; life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed, in the portion even in this world of those who put their trust in Christ, but after the resurrection to be consummated by new accessions, among them a more perfect body, and to last for ever.

    first in you?
