Like any emotion, you have to proactively and consistently practice it every single day in order to embody it fully. If you fail to acknowledge and appreciate the blessings in your life, than what is the point of receiving more?
If we all stopped for a moment and looked around us, we would find endless things that we have that others only dream of – clothes , food, clean water, shelter, etc. The list goes on and on.
Make gratitude a part of your daily ritual. Live by your words and be appreciative for what you have.
John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
