In this third instalment of our Jordan Peterson deconstruction we focus on Peterson's views on, and interpretations of, the Christian Bible. Drawing on content from his popular Bible Series available on YouTube, we document how Peterson interprets the Bible based on Carl Jung's pagan archetypal psychology. We take the time to identify the pagan themes that Peterson grafts on to Biblical stories and to correct some of his most egregious Bible interpretation fails. Even if you are someone who doesn't particularly care about what Jordan Peterson thinks about the Bible, this episode is still well worth a listen because Peterson's views build on an important historical trend and are rapidly growing in popularity. Join us for a lively discussion of exotic trinities, epic interpretation fails, and, to quote Peterson, many other "mind-boggling" ideas.
