The bible repeatedly affirms that this broken, earthly world we live in is under attack by spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12), that as believers in Christ we know that we are facing an enemy with an army who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The bible also repeatedly affirms that when we cry out to God for rescue from these forces, for discernment on how to combat their attacks and strategically dismantle their principalities -  we are heard (Psalm 34:17). So how does this affect our perspectives of lament and justice? And how do we go about recognizing the principalities that are cultivating oppression and injustice in our world while still maintaining our hope in and dependence on God as the ultimate authority & salvation?
