Former AFL player Sam Newman has hit back at radio host Chrissie Swan after she coined an interview with him as the "worst experience" of her broadcasting career.

Ms Swan was so offended during the interview, which happened five years ago, she walked out and they were unable to air the audio. 

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast their spat was about the axing of 'grid girls' at the Melbourne Grand Prix.
