There’s been a well-documented surge in hate crimes against Asian Americans here in the Bay Area and across the country, but a new study says race-based crime is spiking among many other ethnic groups as well.
The report finds hate crimes jumping in many cities to a level not seen in 50 years, with Black, LGBTQ, and Jewish people also among the most targeted.
