" After serving 26 years in federal prison for his involvement in the bank robbery culture of South Central LA, Eric Mckenith turned his life around. He was facing 84 years in prison until President Trump changed the law for long-time sentences. During his time in prison, Eric reflected on his past and the choices that led him down the path of crime. He made a conscious decision to turn his life around and become a positive force in his community.
Today, Eric is an advocate for criminal justice reform and a mentor to at-risk youth in Los Angeles. His story is a powerful example of how it's never too late to change one's life, and how adversity can be transformed into opportunity.
