Episode 24 -After Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, He underwent testing--just like the sacrificial lambs who were entering Jerusalem for the Passover sacrifice were being tested by the priests, to ensure their purity. But could it be that Jesus was actually testing His testers?
How can we change our perspective on temptation, hardships, and even the comforts of our daily life, to view them, not as hindrances to growth, but as the very tools that God uses to show us His hand at work in our lives? What is tests were not meant to be passed, but to show what we're made of? What if tests were God's way to show us off? We are a new creation in Christ, and He promises to complete His masterpiece. He who started a good work in us, promises to carry it to completion in Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6)!
When Jesus cleanses the Temple from the money-changers on Monday, He makes a statement: He will cleanse, own, protect, and defend His Own. That's you and me today. When He curses the barren fig tree next, He is sending the same message. And with every teaching on Monday and Tuesday, He reaffirms His offer as the Groom to the bride.
The question has been posed. What will you RSVP?
