There is only one more week until the Primary Election in California next Tuesday. Both parties are trying to understand what’s roiling the electorate heading into a difficult midterm environment.

Beyond the polls and the focus groups, there are many questions surrounding the differences and distinctions in the electorate over the many issues of the day. This ranges from inflation to crime, exhaustion with the pandemic, and a general cynicism about politics.
