Marilyn’s words are basically the manifesto of Ugly Sweater Day, don’t you think? Most of us spend way too much time trying to look polished, presentable, or—dare I say—Pinterest-worthy.
But today? Today, you can ditch the chic aesthetic for something loud, absurd, and unapologetically you. It’s a reminder that beauty isn’t about being flawless—it’s about embracing the quirky, the unexpected, and yes, even the downright ugly.
Think about it: the most memorable people in life are often the ones who don’t take themselves too seriously. They’re the ones who’ll wear the sweater with a 3D Santa and say, “Yeah, I did this on purpose.”
