I know a lot of people don’t enjoy it, but I think it’s rather fascinating and it’s also sort of a game to hunt for the best potential deals or being able to optimize your use of miles, points, and loyalty perks on a particular trip, which is a very big part of planning. If you are going to be using miles and points for a trip, you are going to have to do a lot more work than somebody who is just planning to purchase a trip.
