Our goal here is to release a 2-3 minute video / Podcast each day, designed to challenge you and get you to spend more time with God.
Today we are going to talk about, Godly Ambition.
Ambition can be both positive and negative.
An example of the latter is people who have scratched their way to the top and, in the process, left their claw marks in the backs of you and others who they climbed over in order to reach their goal.
Thats not the kind of ambition that we as Christians men and women should have.
We are to have godly ambition, that is, a desire to serve the Lord and focus on the glory of God, and the good of others.
I believe this is part of what Paul had in mind when he said, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” in 1 Corinthians 11:1.
Let's follow Pauls example by bringing our ambition in line with God’s will.
Tell God today that when you are consumed by selfish ambition, that you want Him to help you focus on glorifying Him and serving others.
And when you lack ambition, ask Him to remind you of the tremendous prize of knowing Him.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
